The Escape Artist (German title: Der Anwalt des Teufels) begins a repeat airing in Germany tonight on RTL Crime. The three part legal thriller written by David Wolstencroft for BBC One and starring David Tennant was originally shown in Germany in its entirety on VOX in March. RTL will be showing episodes weekly.

Discovering Hamlet, which features interviews with David Tennant, will be repeated this morning at 11:00am on Sky Arts 2 and Sky Arts 2 HD.
It will also air at 11.15pm on Sky Arts 2 and Sky Arts 2 HD on 2nd May.

The acclaimed UK drama Broadchurch continues its tour of the world's broadcasters as it makes its debut on TV in New Zealand next month. The eight part crime series starring David Tennant, Olivia Colman and Arthur Darvill premieres on TV ONE on Sunday 11th May.

The thrilling BBC legal drama The Escape Artist is released as a 2-disc set in Australia and New Zealand (Region 4) today. Created by David Wolstencroft (Spooks) and directed by Brian Welsh (Mayday, Black Mirror) the three-part series aired on SBS in March in Australia.

To celebrate 200 years since the publication of Jane Austin's novel Mansfield Park, BBC Radio 4 Extra will be giving their listeners a rare opportunity to listen again to the 2003 adaptation of the classic, with an all-star cast featuring David Tennant and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Mansfield Park centres on Fanny Price, one of nine children born to a family in financial difficulties who is sent to be raised by her wealthy aunt and uncle. David and Benedict play brothers Tom and Edmund, sons of Sir Thomas and Lady Bertram, and cousins to Fanny. Of the two, Tom is the profligate gambler and character of ill-repute, but it is towards the gentle and kind Edmund that Fanny is drawn and with whom she forms a romantic attachment. Fanny struggles to be the social equal of her adoptive family and those in their circle, however, she is the moral centre of the story.

David Tennant's wartime drama Spies Of Warsaw will be repeated in Australia on UKTV from next Sunday afternoon. David stars as Jean-François Mercier, a French colonel, war hero and military attaché to Warsaw in an adaptation of the novels by Alan Furst by award-winning screenwriting duo Dick Clement and Ian la Frenais. The two-part series was a co-production between Fresh One for BBC Four, BBC America, TV Poland and ARTE France and premièred on BBC Four early in 2013.

The Special and Visual Effects teams behind the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special, The Day Of The Doctor, picked up the Special, Visual & Graphic Effects BAFTA in the TV Craft Awards this evening. The work was shared by Milk VFX, Real SFX  and The Model Unit.

Other effects teams in the categories were Robert Hollingworth and Jonathan Watts for Micro Monsters with David Attenborough: Predator, Zoo and Fido for David Attenborough’s Natural History Museum Alive 3D and Blue Bolt and Rushes for Peaky Blinders. 

The Day Of The Doctor starred Matt Smith, David Tennant and John Hurt as three incarnations of the Doctor, with Billie Piper, Jenna Coleman, Gemma Redgrave and Joanna Page. The special aired as a global telecast and cinema stream on Saturday 23rd November 2013.
