RICHARD II: Encore Screenings In UK Cinemas

There will be more chances to catch the outstanding Royal Shakespeare Company production of Richard II  in UK cinemas. Gregory Doran directs a cast led by David Tennant and including Nigel Lindsay, Oliver Ford Davies, Jane Lapotaire and Michael Pennington in the performance recorded live from the stage of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon.

Richard II is King. A monarch ordained by God to lead his people. A man whose vanity threatens to divide the great houses of England and drag his people into a dynastic and bloody civil war.

The encore screenings are available at a number of cinemas across the UK, including selected Cineworld, Vue, Picturehouses and Odeon screens.

Most screenings will take place next week, with a handful running in May.

Richard II will be released on region-free DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday 6th May in the UK and Tuesday 13th May in the USA.
