David Tennant is a guest at tonight's European premiere of Mary Queen Of Scots in London.
The Oscar-tipped epic stars Saoirse Ronan as the titular Mary with Margot Robbie as Queen Elizabeth I. David Tennant stars as the outspoken Scottish preacher John Knox. The film is set to be released in the UK on Friday 18th January.


Mary Queen of Scots is a retelling of the turbulent life of Mary Stuart, written by Beau Willimon based on the book “Queen of Scots: The True Life of Mary Stuart” by Dr. John Guy. Queen of France at 16, at 18 Mary is widowed, defies pressure to remarry and instead returns to her native Scotland to reclaim her rightful throne. By birth, Mary has a rival claim to the throne of Elizabeth I, who rules as England’s Queen. David Tennant Doctor Who Mini Episode Time Crash To Feature On Newly Released Peter Davison Blu-Ray Collection

David Tennant's Doctor Who mini episode, Time Crash, is included in a newly released Blu-ray collection celebrating Peter Davison's Season 19 of the show. The two Doctors teamed up for Children In Need back in 2007 for a short story penned by Steven Moffat.

The collection features seven stories from 1982 – 'Castrovalva', 'Four To Doomsday', 'Kinda', 'The Visitation', 'Black Orchid', 'Earthshock' and 'Time-Flight.

All episodes have been remastered in HD and the set also includes special features such as five new making-of documentaries, an extended version of 'Black Orchid' part one, rare behind-the-scenes studio footage, updated special effects for 'Castrovalva', and a newly-shot one-hour interview with Peter Davison.

The European Premiere Of Mary Queen Of Scots Takes Place In London Tonight

The much anticipated historical drama Mary Queen Of Scots will have its European premiere in London at Cineworld Leicester Square tonight. The Oscar-tipped epic stars Saoirse Ronan as the titular Mary with Margot Robbie as Queen Elizabeth I. David Tennant stars as the outspoken Scottish preacher John Knox. The film is set to be released in the UK on Friday 18th January.


All three stars are named as expected attendees at the red carpet gala next week, as are co-stars Jack Lowden, Joe Alwyn, Gemma Chan, Martin Compston, Adrian Leicester, James McArdle and Guy Pearce along with director Josie Rourke.
