David Tennant, Good Omens And Deadwater Fell Nominated In First Round Of TV Choice Awards - Vote Now!

The voting is now open for the first stage of the 24th annual TV Choice awards, due to be presented in Autumn. The TV Choice Awards are the only major TV awards entirely decided by audience votes, with more than 2 million readers deciding which programmes and stars will be honoured as the best of the year. 

This year David Tennant’s recent Channel 4 thriller Deadwater Fell and his Amazon Prime series Good Omens are both nominated in the Best New Drama category.
David has also been nominated as Best Actor for his role in Deadwater Fell. 

Voting on the longlist will remain open until midnight BST on Friday 12th June.

A second round of voting to decide the winners will open on 7th July. 
Winners will be announced in the autumn in a ceremony which will be screened online.

UK: Watch David Tennant Thriller Bad Samaritan On Horror Channel Tonight

David Tennant's 2018 psychological thriller Bad Samaritan has its free-to-air TV premiere in the UK tonight when it debuts on Horror Channel from 9pm BST.

Bad Samaritan is a terrifying cautionary tale of two thieves uncovering more than what they bargained for when breaking into a house they thought would be an easy score. After making the shocking discovery of a woman held prisoner in the home, they must choose to run and hide, or face the kidnapper whose chilling secrets they have exposed. David Tennant stars as the psychotic Cale Erendreich, with Robert Sheehan and Carlito Olivero as Sean and Derek, two parking valets with a little sideline in burglary and Kerry Condon as Katie. Dean Devlin has produced and directed the movie which was written by Brandon Boyce. 
UK viewers can find Horror Channel on Sky Channel 317, Virgin Channel 149, Freeview 70 and Freesat 138. 

David Tennant Contributes To New Charity Book Thanking The NHS

David Tennant is one of a host of well known faces who have contributed to a new book to thank the NHS for their work.
Dear NHS: 100 Stories To Say Thank You which is edited and compiled by Adam Kay, sees celebrities telling their personal stories of the care that they or their loved ones have received from the health service.

Other contributors include: Paul McCartney, Emilia Clarke, Peter Kay, Stephen Fry, Dawn French, Sir Trevor McDonald, Graham Norton, Sir Michael Palin, Naomie Harris, Ricky Gervais, Sir David Jason, Dame Emma Thompson, Joanna Lumley and many, many more.  All profits from the book will go to NHS Charities Together to fund vital research and projects, and The Lullaby Trust which supports parents bereaved of babies and young children.

David Tennant is one of a host of celebrities to donate to an auction to raise funds for the NHS during the Coronavirus crisis.
David has kindly offered up a bottle of champagne, which was produced in a limited number to celebrate the first night of his 2011 run in Much Ado About Nothing. He has also autographed the bottle.

David Tennant and Michael Sheen set to lead cast in Staged, a new comedy series for BBC One

The BBC today announced a brand new lockdown comedy, Staged, from Infinity Hill and GCB Films for BBC One. Starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen, Staged (6x15) features the cast of a play - the cream of the crop of British acting talent - who are furloughed when their upcoming West End production is suddenly brought to a halt. The series follows the cast as they try their best to keep the rehearsals on track in lockdown. Absurd and humorous in equal measure, Staged takes on the challenges of creating a drama in lockdown, on stage and off, with a line-up including Georgia Tennant, Lucy Eaton and Anna Lundberg. The show will also have a selection of guest stars including Nina Sosanya, with more to be confirmed in due course.
