You Me And Him starring David Tennant, Lucy Punch and Faye Marsay will premiere on Showtime in the USA this morning at 10:35 ET/PT You, Me And Him Two female lovers, one a career driven lawyer (Lucy Punch), the other a fun-loving, pot-smoking layabout (Faye Marsay), have an annoying Casanova neighbor (David Tennant). While neither woman ever wanted children, both end up pregnant, creating conflicts that cause each to re-examine their outlook on life and their relationship. You Me And Him was written and directed by Daisy Aitkens and produced by Georgia Tennant for Bad Penny Productions. It also stars Nina Sosanya, David Warner, Gemma Jones, Sarah Parish and Simon Bird. David Tennant recently joined Miranda Hart on Channel 4's seasonal special Miranda Does Christmas, for a celebration of all things fun and festive. With the line up completed by Susan Calman, Prue Leith and Sam Smith, Miranda sought to bring the joy back into Christmas through music, quizzes and a lot of laughter. In this one-off entertainment special Miranda Hart shows us how to make Christmas just as much fun as it used to be. She's carol singing with a very special guest singer, hitting the streets to spread Christmas joy among shoppers, rewarding the good deeds of unsuspecting members of the audience, and bringing romance to two singletons. TBS has released a 30 teaser trailer for the new animated series Final Space, which comes to the network in 2018. The interstellar space opera is created by actor, director, comedian and indie filmmaker Olan Rogers and co-stars David Tennant, Gina Torres and Tom Kenny.  Final Space An astronaut named Gary and his planet-destroying sidekick called Mooncake (both voiced by Olan Rogers) embark on serialized journeys through space in order to unlock the mystery of where the universe actually ends and if it actually does exist. Rogers and David Sacks are writers and executive producers for the TBS original, which is being produced by Conan O'Brien's Conaco, New Form and in association with Turner's Studio T. David Tennant voices Gary's nemesis, the evil Lord Commander, who seeks control of Mooncake's awesome powers for his own nefarious ends. A full official trailer will follow next month with the series premiere on TBS in the USA in early 2018.

The Highway Rat starring David Tennant will air in this afternoon on BBC One. The enchanting half-hour animated special brings to life another magical world from the UK’s number one picture book duo, Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, the team behind The Gruffalo, Stick Man and Room On The Broom. The feature is created by the Oscar nominated producers Magic Light Pictures.  The festive family highlight will be voiced by a stellar cast of British acting talent: joining David, who voices the wicked titular rodent, are Rob Brydon as the narrator, Nina Sosanya as the Duck, Tom Hollander as the Squirrel and Frances de le Tour as the Rabbit. David Tennant will be sitting as a model as his likeness is committed to canvas in the new series of Sky Arts Portrait Artist Of The Year in January. Frank Skinner and Joan Bakewell begin  the search for a new star portrait artist for 2018, which  sees a new cohort of painters compete for a £10,000 commission for a major British institution and £500 worth of art materials from Cass Art.  David is one of the celebrity sitters for the first show of the new series, in which the competitors have just four hours to create a portrait of three stars. The episode was filmed at the Wallace Collection at Hertford House, Marylebone in April 2017 and David was joined for the heat by Michael Coel, the creator and star of Channel 4 sitcom Chewing Gum, and singer-songwriter James Morrison. With Christmas almost upon us and the latest Doctor Who Christmas Special nearly here, we thought it would be a good time to look back on some of David Tennant's finest moments as the Doctor in his Christmas Specials. David made his first full appearance Doctor is The Christmas Invasion way back in 2005... Rose and the newly-regenerated Doctor continue their adventures together in this Christmas Special episode. Christmas becomes a time of terror for Planet Earth, as the whole of mankind falls under the shadow of the alien Sycorax. Rose needs the Doctor's help, but can she trust a man with a new face? The Doctor is recovering from regeneration when Rose, her Mum and Micky are attacked by a lethal spinning Christmas Tree. Rose attempts to bluff the leader of the Sycorax by invoking the Shadow Proclamation among other references. Baby Lifeline has today announced that it is the official charity partner for David Tennant's new film, You, Me And Him.  =Baby Lifeline grew from modest beginnings in Coventry. Former nurse Judy Ledger founded the organisation in 1981, driven by the experience of losing three premature babies, in order to raise funds for a single neonatal incubator for Coventry's Neonatal Unit. Since then the charity has spread and now offers charitable funding to units nationally. Baby Lifeline has raised over £10 million to help purchase specialist equipment and provide training. However it is still a sad fact that 1 in 154 babies are either stillborn or die within 7 days of birth, and 42% of all claims against the NHS are made against maternity departments. Baby Lifeline hopes to reduce these numbers significantly. Bad Penny Productions have released a new trailer of You, Me And Him to promote the film's UK cinema release on 12th April next year. David Tennant has been announced as a guest for next year's Festival Of Ideas in Kirkcaldy, Scotland. The event will take place between 16th - 18th March 2018 and will be held across two venues, the Adam Smith Theatre and Kirkcaldy Galleries. David will take part in "An Audience With David Tennant" on Saturday 17th March. Tickets for this will go on sale in January. Heather Stuart, chief executive of Fife Cultural Trust, told Fife Today: “We are delighted to be welcoming David to Kirkcaldy and grateful to him for supporting this event. The three-day event will also include the long-standing Adam Smith Lecture which has been delivered in the past by names such as Kofi Annan, former UN General secretary, Mervyn King, governor of the Bank of England, and last year, Ed Balls, former Chancellor and star of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. Good Omens writer and showrunner Neil Gaiman has shared the first photo of Michael McKean in costume as Witchfinder Sergeant Shadwell.
