David Tennant makes an ever welcome return to the cover of Doctor Who Magazine this week as the publication takes a look at regeneration ahead of Matt Smith's departure at Christmas.

Doctor Who Magazine asks the question that's on everybody's lips: Who Will Be The Twelfth Doctor. There's also a chance to win the exciting new Regeneration CD and book box set, released on Monday, which includes every single regeneration story.

Other features include a look at the 2007 episode 42 starring David Tennant and Freema Agyeman. Also, Steven Moffat pays tribute to Matt Smith and his time as the Doctor.

Doctor Who Magazine #462 will be on sale from today, price £4.75.

David Tennant's 2005 drama Casanova will be released on DVD in Germany on 15th July.

Production of David Tennant's new movie, What We Did On Our Holiday caused travel chaos yesterday as the filmmakers shot a sequence along the busy A82 in Dumbartonshire. Motorists travelling between Dumbarton and Balloch ground to a halt as they were forced to wait while David was filmed in a Toyota being towed by an HGV. Police motorcyclists ran a rolling road block as the action took up both lanes of the carriageway.
It's not the first time that David's presence has caused a traffic incident while filming. Last year, while he was shooting the ITV drama Broadchurch on location, a motorist was so preoccupied by the sight of him at the side of the road that they ran into the back of the car in front. David and co-star Olivia Colman said that no-one was hurt, although both drivers were too embarrassed to exchange insurance details and quickly drove away.

BBC America have expanded their Broadchurch  minisite ahead of the drama's network premiere. The site now includes an extended trailer, character profiles, a photo gallery and an in-depth synopsis of episode one.

Broadchurch, starring David Tennant, Olivia Colman and Arthur Darvill, is an eight-part crime drama created by Chris Chibnall (Doctor Who, Torchwood). Following the death of a schoolboy in a sleepy seaside town in Dorset, mismatched police detectives Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller are set to uncover his killer. But as the town comes under increasing media scrutiny, it becomes clear that the identity of the murderer is not the only secret that it is hiding.

Broadchurch was the show that had UK audiences gripped earlier this year. The show broke Twitter records and filled newspaper column inches, and even the betting shops got in on the act as books were opened on the killer's identity. The final episode was watched by 10.5m viewers.

Residents of the Scottish town Milngavie have been talking about their experiences of having the cast and crew of David Tennant's latest film project, What We Did On Out Holiday, filming amongst them.
Scenes for the comedy were recorded there last Wednesday and local teashop owner Anne Gibb has been talking to the Milngavie And Bearsden Herald about meeting with David Tennant.

The film, which is partly improvised, focuses on Doug (David Tennant) and Abi (Rosamund Pike) who are taking their three children on a trip to Scotland for a big family gathering. They are in the midst of a difficult divorce, and have asked the kids to keep it a secret from their extended family. But as the inevitable feuds kick in, a completely unexpected turn of events involving the children causes further tensions to rise to the surface.
