Double Income No Kids Yet Compilation To Be Released In December

Audible are to release a compilation of the early millennial comedy series Double Income No Kids Yet on 19th December. The comedy was written by David Spicer and ran for three series on BBC 7 between 2001-2003, following the highs and lows in the lives of a young, childless professional couple.

The plot focuses on Daniel and Lucy, played by David Tennant and Liz Carling, and their circle of friends. In the first series, Lucy sets up Daniel's party, but their mates seem too busy with kids. Then, when a top author gets writer's block, Lucy and Daniel get landed with an unwelcome guest. In the third episode, Daniel and Lucy's plans for a quiet weekend are hit by a stream of unplanned visitors and are later hit by other people's baby blues. Is poker really the answer? Lucy's up for promotion, but Katie can't decide on naming her baby. And in the last episode, when they're asked to be godparents, Lucy's thrilled. The same can't be said for Dan, however. In …

David Tennant narrates a brand new documentary for BBC Scotland which goes behind the scenes of The Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital and takes a look at the lives of the young patients and the staff who care for them. The heart warming eight part series, The Children’s Hospital, concludes on Wednesday 2nd October on BBC Scotland and BBC iPlayer at 8pm. 

In the final episode baby Sebastian begins a five-year treatment plan for Clubfoot. Without the right care he won't be able to walk normally. Meanwhile, Holly is tested for a dangerous peanut allergy, but things do not go according to plan, and excitement builds as surprise guests come to visit the hospital.

Good Omens writer and producer Neil Gaiman has revealed that the acclaimed Amazon Prime series will be available on DVD and Blu-ray in Australia and New Zealand from 13th November. David Tennant stars as the demon Crowley in the six-part adaptation of the novel written by Neil in 1990 with the late Terry Pratchett. Michael Sheen co-stars as Crowley's angelic counterpart Aziraphale.

Criminal Premieres To Critical Acclaim And Audience Praise

Netflix’s ground breaking new drama, Criminal, dropped on Friday to critical acclaim and high praise from viewers.
The dramatic series is set across the UK, France, Spain and Germany with the drama all taking place within the confines of a police interview suite. It is described as a stripped-down, cat-and-mouse drama that will focus on the intense mental conflict between the police officer and the suspect in question. 

David Tennant guest stars in the first episode of the UK series as Dr Edgar Fallon, a stepfather accused of raping and murdering his teenage stepdaughter.

It was produced by Neil Gaiman and directed by Douglas Mackinnon. USA: gen:LOCK Season One Finale ”Identity Crisis” Premieres On Adult Swim Tonight

Rooster Teeth’s animated sci fi series gen:LOCK concludes on Adult Swim in the USA tonight at 11:30pm as part of their Toonami block.

The mecha anime is set in a dystopian future where battles are fought using giant armoured robots. David Tennant stars as Dr. Rufus "Doc" Weller, the inventor of the 'gen:LOCK' technology, the next generation of mecha. Michael B Jordan voices Julian Chase, one of a diverse group of young pilots controlling the weapons.

The cast also includes Maisie Williams, Dakota Fanning, Kōichi Yamadera, Golshifteh Farahani and Asia Kate Dillon. gen:LOCK is created by Gray G. Haddock, head of Rooster Teeth Animation, and is co-produced by Jordan through his own company Outlier Society Productions.

New Netflix Drama, Criminal, Starring David Tennant, Is Streaming Now

New Netflix crime series Criminal is streaming worldwide now. 
Criminal is a ground breaking dramatic series set across the UK, France, Spain and Germany. The drama all takes place within the confines of a police interview suite. It is described as a stripped-down, cat-and-mouse drama that will focus on the intense mental conflict between the police officer and the suspect in question. 

There are three 45-minute episodes set in each country. The series will drop worldwide on Friday 20th September. 

The episodes are all in the local language, with writing and directing talent from the individual territories taking charge of the episodes from their countries, setting up an innovative production model.

AUDIO RELEASE: David Tennant Stars As Caligula In BBC Radio Caesar! Box Set

David Tennant features in a new BBC archive release which collects nine full-cast audio dramas from the BBC Radio 4 series Caesar! The plays were written by Mike Walker based on historical sources including Suetonius's Lives Of The Caesars and were originally broadcast between 2003 and 2007. 

David Tennant stars as Caligula in the 2003 drama Peeling Figs For Julius. Tom Hiddleston and Andrew Garfield are among the cast members of other plays in the collection.

Caesar! will be released on Audible in the UK and USA on February 20th 2020 and can be pre-ordered here.
