As the world faces a World War, John Halder, a decent, intelligent, music-loving German professor, finds himself swept along in a movement that crescendos towards an unthinkable finale. There’s good news for fans in Australia as Around The World In 80 Days finally comes to screens on Sunday 26th June at 8.30pm on BBC First.  Around The World In 80 Days stars David Tennant as Phileas Fogg, a 19th Century gentleman and adventurer who, with his valet, Passepartout, played by rising French actor Ibrahim Koma, takes on the legendary journey of circumnavigating the globe in just 80 days following an outrageous bet. They are swiftly joined by aspiring journalist Abigail Fix, played by The Crown’s Leonie Benesch, who seizes the chance to report on this extraordinary story. Episode 1  London, 1872. Inspired by a news story, Phileas Fogg is goaded into betting that he can circle the globe in just 80 days, despite never having been abroad before. He sets off with his new valet, Jean Passepartout, and finds that journalist Abigail Fix, the daughter of his friend Fortescue, is joining him to document the journey. Filming for Doctor Who's 60th Anniversary episode continued in Bristol today with David Tennant and Catherine Tate both spotted on location.  The BBC confirmed last month that David and Catherine would be returning to Doctor Who for the show's 60th anniversary. The beloved pairing have reunited with showrunner Russell T Davies for the first time since David Tennant's final episodes, The End Of Time Parts 1 and 2, which aired in 2009 and 2010. David, of course, made an appearance in the 50th Anniversary special The Day Of The Doctor, alongside Matt Smith, Jenna Coleman, Billie Piper and John Hurt. He and Catherine have also reunited for a series of Tenth Doctor audio dramas for Big Finish. David Tennant and Neil Patrick Harris have been seen filming Doctor Who in Bristol today for the show's 60th anniversary episode. Eager fans crowded into Baldwin Street and Clare Street in the centre of Bristol to watch the production. During filming, some cars were set on fire, and vehicles bearing the logo of Unit, a fictional United Nations agency, have also been spotted. David could also be seen protecting the occupants of a car, while crowds of people were running away.
