Celebrating Shakespeare's 450th Birthday: Doctor Who - William Shakespeare Vs. The Carrionites



In celebration of the 450th anniversary of William Shakespeare's birth today we'll be taking a look back at some of David Tennant's finest Shakespeare-inspired moments.

In 2007 in David's second series in Doctor Who, Martha Jones played by Freema Agyeman joined the Doctor in the TARDIS. In their first trip together, the Doctor took Martha back in time to Elizabethan London to view a bit of Shakespeare at the original Globe Theatre. It wasn't long before they had run into the Bard himself and discovered that an evil alien race had their own plans to exploit his genius.
