VIDEO: Sport Relief - David Tennant Visits A Mother Who Is Dying So Her Son Can Live

On his visit to Sierra Leone last year for Sport Relief, David Tennant paid a visit to a mother, Sento, and her son Saidu. Sento has tested positive for HIV and although she has the medication available to treat herself, she cannot take it as it must be taken with food and she does not have enough for both her and her son. Therefore, she ensures that her son eats while she goes without her medicine and endures her symptoms.

Sport Relief can fund projects to support families like Sento and Saidu, to ensure that they have care and something to eat and that children have hope of an education and a childhood free from hunger and misery.
