The BBC has started trailing the new BBC Four series There She Goes, which stars David Tennant and Jessica Hynes as the parents of a disabled child. The five part comedy drama is expected to air later in the autumn.

There She Goes is based on the real life experience of writer Shaun Pye, whose daughter was born in 2006 with an extremely rare and, to date, undiagnosed chromosomal disorder. Produced by Merman for BBC Four, the series is about a severely learning disabled 9-year-old girl Rosie, played by Miley Locke, her dad Simon (David Tennant), mum Emily (Jessica Hynes) and brother Ben (Edan Hayhurst).
Each episode shines a light on day-to-day life with Rosie - unique experiences from simply trying to take her to the park to trying to explain that everyday isn’t her birthday. A…

David Tennant took part in a 45-minute Q&A panel before his fans at FACTS Fan Convention in Belgium yesterday. As well as showing off his French language skills, David answered questions from the audience covering his life and work.

On the heritage of Doctor Who
"There's very few people who get annoyed by Doctor Who or don't like Doctor Who...it's a very nice thing to be involved with."

On his priorities
"The thing that really changes your vision of life is probably having kids. That alters everything that you're about...everything that you do in life you do for a different reason. That's quite life changing."

On characters he has yet to play
"Until a script arrives that written well by somebody brilliant you can't really imagine what that might be...A character's so many different things, it's all to do with the writing."

David Tennant had a surprise in store for a lucky bachelorette yesterday during the FACTS fan Convention in Belgium when he took part in a special photoshoot with her. Huge Doctor Who fan Els was visiting the event as part of her pre-wedding celebrations but, unbeknownst to her, her friends had contacted the convention organisers to set up the meeting with David.

David Tennant was in Belgium yesterday for the 2018 FACTS Fan Convention. He signed autographs, answered audience questions during his panel and of course, took part in photoshoots with his fans.
