David Tennant will be a guest on Christmas Day With Michael Sheen on BBC Radio Wales at 2pm GMT this afternoon. Spend your Christmas with Michael Sheen as he entertains the nation with a special Christmas Day programme on BBC Radio Wales. He will host the two-hour show, Christmas Day with Michael Sheen on December 25 from 2pm. The show will feature a mix of music and guests, including a performance from James Dean Bradfield of the Manic Street Preachers. Michael Sheen says: “Coming together at this time of year is what makes it so special and thanks to Radio Wales this Christmas Day, I’ll get to share some great festive music, a few Christmas catch ups with friends and a bit of a Yuletide magic.”  Additionally, Michael will use the programme as a moment for reflection and will be reciting extracts from Dylan Thomas’ A Child’s Christmas in Wales. David Tennant stars as  as intrepid adventurer Phileus Fogg in  Around The World In 80 Days, an epic eight-part series which premieres on ZDF in Germany tonight. The adaptation of  the classic novel by Jules Verne which airs under the German title In 80 Tagen um die Welt  also stars Ibrahim Koma as Fogg's valet Passepartout and Leonie Benesch as journalist Abigail Fix. The epic eight-part series Around The World In 80 Days starring David Tennant as intrepid adventurer Phileus Fogg premieres tonight in France with a triple bill on France 2 from 21:10. Airing under the French title Le tour du monde en 80 jours, the drama also stars Rising French star Ibrahim Koma as Fogg's valet Passepartout and Leonie Benesch as journalist Abigail Fix. Based on the classic novel by Jules Verne, Around The World In 80 Days, the series was adapted by writers including Ashley Pharoah and Caleb Ranson. David Tennant will be guest starring in this year’s Comic Relief panto Tonight at 9pm on BBC Two.  The world’s funniest and most star-studded Comic Relief pantomime is back, as writers Ben Crocker, Dawson Bros and Richard Curtis turn Beauty And The Beast into a festive panto delight, all to raise money for some very good causes. Returning to tell this years’ tale will be narrator Guz Khan as Bonzo. He will gleefully retell the beloved fairy-tale of an unlikely romance between a cursed beast and his warm-hearted prisoner as part of this new BBC Christmas tradition. David Tennant stars in the four-part UK mystery series Deadwater Fell which begins on TF1 in France on Thursday 16th December. The show premiered in January 2020 on Channel 4.  David stars as Tom Kendrick, a respected doctor in a small Scottish town, whose wife and children tragically die in a fire that decimates their family home. However, when it was discovered that the fire was not started accidentally, the finger of suspicion points first to Tom, and there are signs that the family's seemingly perfect life was not all that it seemed. David Tennant has been announced as a guest at Wales Comic Con next year when the event heads over the border to England to take over Telford's International Centre. WCC: Telford Takeover runs from Saturday 2nd to Sunday 3rd April 2022 with David appearing on Saturday only. David will be taking part in signing and photo sessions during the day. Details of any Q&A session have not yet been made available.  Tickets for the event are on sale now via this link .
