Classic Doctor Who finds a new home on Horror Channel as a
selection of the Time Lord’s adventures in space and time will screen from today.
This specially curated season from the Classic series (1963-1989) gives fans old and new a chance to get re-acquainted with the first seven Doctors,
starting with William Hartnell and concluding with Sylvester McCoy, plus their favourite
companions and rogue Time Lords such as The Master, Omega and The Rani and all
those iconic monsters including the Daleks, Cybermen, Sea Devils and Ice
Warriors.
The season launches tonight from 7pm BST with all four parts
of the very first story, An Unearthly
Child, starring William Hartnell as the Doctor.
A special WHO ON HORROR weekend marathon
runs across the Easter weekend starting from 11am BST tomorrow and featuring one
story from each of the Doctors. There will then be weekday double-bills
in daytime and evening slots with stories shown in chronological order starting
on Easter Monday 21st April.
