The ten-part US Broadchurch remake Gracepoint continues tonight in the UK on ITV Encore. A new Broadchurch tourist trail has been launched in time for the summer's visitors to follow in the footsteps of David Tennant and Olivia Colman. The trail, which has been devised by West Dorset District Council, will allow fans of the ITV drama to visit the settings of the award winning series. It will mostly focus on the Broadchurch scenes set in West Bay, but will also encourage fans to explore more of West Dorset and visit other locations that have featured. No prizes for guessing David's answer when he was quizzed on his favourite Washington DC based show during the WHCA 2015 dinner last night. David was one of a number of famous guests interviewed by the Washington Post. Others include Orange Is The New Black star Laverne Cox and musician Pete Wentz. Watch the clip here: David and his wife Georgia Moffett attended the annual prizegiving and fundraiser that is hosted by the White House Correspondents' Association as guests of The Guardian newspaper. The event took place in thge presence of United States President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at the Washington Hilton last night. In all over 2600 guests saw the presentation of scholarship awards and speeches by the President and also by entertainer Cecily Strong.

David Tennant and his wife Georgia Moffett were among guests attending the annual White House Correspondents' Association annual dinner last night in the presence of President Barack Obama. Other guests included Bradley Cooper, Lucy Liu, Jane Fonda, Téa Leoni, Norman Reedus, Alan Rickman and Martha Stewart along with a host of journalists and broadcasters. In total more than 2600 guests were in attendance seated across more than 250 tables at the Washington Hilton International's Ballroom for tonight's event, the 101st 'Nerd Prom', as it is unofficially known. You can watch a short video clip filmed by C-Span of David and Georgia arriving at the event below and talking to AP, unfortunately the sound of the other guests drowns out the conversation somewhat. Season one of the hit UK series Broadchurch finally airs in Germany tonight. The show premieres on ZDF at 22.00; the first of four double length episodes airing on Sundays. David Tennant stars as Alec Hardy, a detective inspector who has been recently promoted to a new position in the quiet seaside town of Broadchurch. Not long after he has arrived, the body of a local boy is found on the beach and a murder hunt begins. Hardy has to join forces with DS Ellie Miller, a local detective who resents him for taking the job she was promised, but they are forced to put their differences aside to keep order as the small community begins to fall apart under the media spotlight. As fear and paranoia grow long held secrets emerge and is seems as if anyone could be a suspect.  Broadchurch was written by Chris Chibnall and produced by Kudos and Imaginary Friends for ITV.
