Since Saturday's news that Matt Smith will handing over his Sonic Screwdriver speculation has been rife as to who will be the next actor to be handed the keys to the TARDIS.
We have some suggestions for those of you who may like a flutter including the rather far fetched theory that David Tennant may return! That's at 50/1 at Skybet and 33/1 with Ladbrokes and William Hill...personally we'd keep our money in our pockets on that one...

However former Law & Order and Cutting It actor Ben Daniels is favourite to take over the role with odds of just 3/1 at William Hill, 4-1 at Ladbrokes and 5/2 at Skybet.

A female Doctor is apparently also not to be ruled out with Broadchurch's Olivia Colman and rather oddly current companion Jenna-Lousie Coleman both priced at 33/1 at Skybet. Former Rose Tyler actress Billie Piper is also some people's tip for the TARDIS and has odds at 16/1 with William Hill.
