David Tennant narrates a brand new documentary for BBC Scotland which goes behind the scenes of The Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital and takes a look at the lives of the young patients and the staff who care for them. The heart warming eight part series, The Children’s Hospital, continues this evening on BBC Scotland and BBC iPlayer at 8pm.
In tonight’s episode four-year-old Aimee undergoes eye surgery to correct a squint in her eye. Meanwhile, 14-year-old Lauren has physiotherapy after two major operations to realign her legs, and 10-year-old Maya is rushed into the hospital by ambulance with suspected appendicitis.
