USA: gen:LOCK ”It Never Rains...” Premieres On Adult Swim Tonight


Rooster Teeth’s animated sci fi series gen:LOCK continues on Adult Swim in the USA tonight at 11:30pm as part of their Toonami block.

The mecha anime is set in a dystopian future where battles are fought using giant armoured robots. David Tennant stars as Dr. Rufus "Doc" Weller, the inventor of the 'gen:LOCK' technology, the next generation of mecha. Michael B Jordan voices Julian Chase, one of a diverse group of young pilots controlling the weapons.

The cast also includes Maisie Williams, Dakota Fanning, Kōichi Yamadera, Golshifteh Farahani and Asia Kate Dillon. gen:LOCK is created by Gray G. Haddock, head of Rooster Teeth Animation, and is co-produced by Jordan through his own company Outlier Society Productions.

Tonight’s episode is the seventh 
episode of season one and is the penultimate episode in the run. It’s called It Never Rains...
