David Tennant narrates a brand new documentary for BBC Scotland which goes behind the scenes of The Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital and takes a look at the lives of the young patients and the staff who care for them. The heart warming eight part series, The Children’s Hospital, continues this evening on BBC Scotland and BBC iPlayer at 8pm.
In tonight’s episode a snowboarding accident leaves 10-year-old Harris with a broken arm, and orthopaedic practitioner Andy must reset the broken bones. Meanwhile, teenager Ewan undergoes surgery to remove growths from the surface of his bones, and speech and language therapist Sue-Anne assesses a four-week-old baby
