More details have been released about the upcoming DVD released of Staged, including a first look at its cover art. The hit lockdown comedy show was written and directed by Simon Evans and stars David Tennant and Michael Sheen as exaggerated versions of themselves. The double-disc release will include extended episodes of both series of Staged along with exclusive outtakes. It also comes with a reversible sleeve so you can decide yourself which star gets top billing on your copy.   Staged Series 1 and 2 is released on Monday 15th February. David Tennant has been announced as one of the cast for a new animated film, The Loud House Movie  produced by Nickelodeon for Netflix. The Loud House  is an American  animated television series  created by  Chris Savino  for  Nickelodeon .  The series revolves around the chaotic everyday life of a boy named Lincoln Loud, who is the middle child and only son in a large family of 11 children. The Loud House Movie sees the biggest family on television go on the biggest Loud family vacation ever! The adventure follows the Loud family to Scotland where they discover that they are descendants of Scottish royalty. The family quickly indulges in the most wish-fulfilling high-life ever when they discover their ancestral home is a castle. USA: Des Starring David Tennant To Have DVD & Blu-ray Release In March

The real-crime drama Des, starring David Tennant as UK serial killer Dennis Nilsen, will be released on DVD and Blu-ray in the USA on Tuesday 16th March. Co-starring Daniel Mays and Jason Watkins, Des focuses on one of the most infamous criminal cases in UK history. The three-part series is based on the book Killing For Company by Brian Masters and premiered on ITV in the UK last year.  Known as the ‘kindly killer’, Nilsen (David Tennant) was a local civil servant who spent five years murdering vulnerable and often homeless boys and young men he met on the streets of Soho from 1978 to 1983. He would meet and befriend these men before offering them food or lodgings for the evening back at his North London flat. When he was finally caught on 9 February 1983, Nilsen had murdered a total of fifteen men over a period of five years, making him Britain’s most prolific serial killer of the time.  The story is told through the prism of three isolated men - Detective Peter Jay (Daniel Mays), who

David Tennant's lockdown comedy Staged was the surprise hit of the year. The series stars David Tennant and Michael Sheen as fictionalised versions of themselves and was created by Simon Evans and Phin Glynn. It was filmed during lockdown using self-tape and video conferencing techniques. The show was written by Evans, who also co-starred along with Georgia Tennant and Anna Lundberg as the director of a play starring Michael and David. With the play on hold due to the coronavirus epidemic, Simon tries to convince his cast to carry on rehearsals over the internet, but is hampered by ego clashes, boredom, home-schooling and fall-outs with neighbours. Fans in the UK can watch the original series over on BBC iPlayer or an extended version with previously unseen footage is also available on Netflix.
