The official Facebook page for the David Tennant film, Mad To Be Normal, posted an update this morning regarding the film's distribution in the UK and the USA.
They said:
Mad To Be Normal sees David Tennant star as 1960’s celebrity psychiatrist R.D.Laing who revolutionised the treatment of people diagnosed with mental illness. It reveals the story of Ronnie Laing, one of Scotland’s greatest ever minds. Working out of Kingsley Hall in East London throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Laing performed various daring experiments. His revolutionary methods involved experimenting with LSD on his patients and practicing a form of self-healing known as metanoia, causing outrage and controversy in the medical profession and radically changing attitudes and perceptions of mental health around the world.
Elisabeth Moss, Michael Gambon and Gabriel Byrne co star. The film was written and directed by Robert Mullan and is produced by Gizmo Films and Bad Penny Productions.
