Staged Nominated As Best Lockdown Programme In The Broadcast Awards

David Tennant's comedy series, Staged, has been nominated for Best Lockdown Programme in the 2022 Broadcast Awards.

The hit BBC show stars David Tennant and Michael Sheen as exaggerated versions of themselves, two frustrated actors attempting to rehearse a play over Zoom while the country is in lockdown. Co-starring their real-life partners Georgia Tennant and Anna Lundberg, Staged was written and directed by Simon Evans, who also joins the cast with Lucy Eaton, Nina Sosanya and some amazing guest stars.

The Broadcast Awards celebrate the best in British creativity, commending the most outstanding content of the year and championing those who made it possible.

The winners will be announced at an award ceremony that will take place on 10th Feb at Grosvenor House, London.
