VIDEO: David Tennant And Michael Sheen Win Best Comedy Partnership In The I Talk Telly Awards

David Tennant and Michael Sheen have won the award for the Best Comedy Partnership in the I Talk Telly Awards. It is the second year running that they have won the award for their lockdown comedy Staged.

Created by Simon Evans and produced by Phin Glynn, Staged was filmed using remote technology and saw David Tennant and Michael Sheen playing exaggerated versions of themselves, attempting to rehearse for a play over Zoom. Staged also starred Georgia Tennant, Anna Lundberg, Nina Sosanya and Lucy Eaton with Evans himself as the increasingly frustrated director.

Check out their acceptance speech below:

Other winners in the Awards, organised by the I Talk Telly founder Elliot Gonzalez, include It's A Sin, Jodie Comer, Ant And Dec and Coronation Street.
