The award-winning programme launched in 2012 to run alongside Channel 4's coverage of the London Paralympics. It returned as a series in its own right in 2013, but has still retained its focus on celebrating difference and disability humour (Hills and Brooker regularly poke fun at their own disabilities). It now has a reputation for fearlessly promoting social justice and aiming to deflate the egos of the rich and powerful.
