David Tennant Remembers Hamlet On BBC Four This Week

David Tennant will take a look back at his acclaimed performance in the Royal Shakespeare Company's 2008 production of Hamlet this Sunday on BBC Four in the UK. In the short programme, he talks about his approach to the part, performing opposite Patrick Stewart, who played the role of Claudius, and the reaction he got when the production became a hit with BBC audiences when it was screened on Boxing Day 2009.

David’s portrayal was described at the time as ‘athletic, and immensely engaging’, full of ‘vigour and wild humour’ and ‘the best great Dane in years’.

David Tennant Remembers...Hamlet will air on BBC Four at 7pm on Sunday 1st October and will be followed at 7.15pm by a screening of the 2009 filmed version of the play.
