Back in December 2009 David Tennant filmed a pilot for a US TV series 'Rex Is Not Your Lawyer', but it was never aired and was not picked up.
The show centres on David's character, a top Chicago lawyer, who begins suffering panic attacks and takes up coaching clients to represent themselves in court. NBC green lighted the project in August 2009, about two years after it was first developed. Jerry O'Connell, Abigail Spencer, Jane Curtin and Jeffrey Tambor also star in the legal drama by Andrew Leeds and David Lampson.
