David Tennant Nominated In 2023 Olivier Awards

David Tennant has been nominated in the Best Actor category in the 2023 Olivier Awards for his performance as Professor John Halder in the revival of C.P.Taylor's play, Good.  The play ran at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London between October 2022 and January 2023. The production itself is also nominated for Best Revival.

The full shortlist in the Best Actor category is:

  • Tom Hollander – Patriots, Almeida Theatre
  • Paul Mescal - A Streetcar Named Desire, Almeida Theatre
  • Rafe Spall - To Kill A Mockingbird, Gielgud Theatre
  • David Tennant – Good, Harold Pinter Theatre
  • Giles Terera - Blues For An Alabama Sky, National Theatre
In addition, David's co-stars in the play also received nominations: Elliot Levey for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, and Sharon Small for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony hosted by Hannah Waddingham at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 2nd April.
