OUT TODAY: David Tennant & Paapa Essiedu Chat In New Acting For Others Podcast

Actors David Tennant and Paapa Essiedu feature in the latest episode of the Acting For Others charity podcast which has dropped on all podcast streaming platforms today. The campaign aims at raising funds for the provision of financial and emotional support for all UK theatre workers who may be experiencing hardship.

The Acting For Others podcast sees, across six episodes, some of the UK's brightest stars of stage and screen, taking part in one-on-one intimate conversations. Dame Judi Dench, Olly Alexander, Golda Rosheuvel, Noma Dumezweni, Miriam Margolyes, Sir Derek Jacobi, Adjoa Andoh and Dame Eileen Atkins are among those pairing up to share memories and anecdotes about their passion for theatre, the art of storytelling, triumphs and trials, loves and losses and a whole lot more.

In today’s episode David Tennant and Paapa Essiedu discuss the perils of taking on Hamlet, Bond rumours, shit-humbling, the weirdness of Doctor Who-level stardom, and being gripped by the fear. The episode was recorded in March 2022 over Zoom. Download now from wherever you get your podcasts.

All episodes will be introduced by Samantha Bond and will include music by Dan Gillespie Sells. The Acting For Others podcast is produced by Robert Rees for A Simple Beast productions and is executive produced by Kevin Mundye.
