AUDIO: David Tennant Features In New Acting For Others Podcast

David Tennant is among a host of actors pairing up for a weekly podcast to raise funds for the Acting For Others charity. The campaign aims at raising funds for the provision of financial and emotional support for all UK theatre workers who may be experiencing hardship.

The Acting For Others podcast sees, across six episodes, some of the UK's brightest stars of stage and screen taking part in one-on-one intimate conversations. Listeners will hear Olly Alexander reminiscing about running around Judi Dench’s garden to David Tennant talking to Paapa Essiedu about the James Bond rumours – expect to hear everything about their passion for theatre, the art of storytelling, triumphs and trials, loves and losses and a whole lot more.

Episodes will be released weekly on Tuesdays from October 11th and will be available from wherever you get your podcasts. The full episode line up for the first season of Acting for Others Presents… is, in episode order: Dame Judi Dench and Olly Alexander; David Tennant and Paapa Essiedu (released on October 18th); Golda Rosheuvel and Noma Dumezweni; Miriam Margolyes and Sir Derek Jacobi and Adjoa Andoh and Dame Eileen Atkins. The line up for the final episode of the season is still to be announced.

All episodes will be introduced by Samantha Bond and will include music by Dan Gillespie Sells. The Acting For Others podcast is produced by Robert Rees for A Simple Beast productions and is executive produced by Kevin Mundye.
