Stream The First Series Of Staged On Britbox Now

The first series of David Tennant and Michael Sheen's lockdown comedy, Staged, is available to stream on Britbox in the UK from today.

The series, written and directed by Simon Evans, stars David Tennant and Michael Sheen as exaggerated versions of themselves, a pair of furloughed actors attempting to negotiate the UK's COVID-19 lockdown.

Filmed using video-conferencing technologies, Staged sees David and Michael as the stars of a play that has now been shelved by the pandemic. Their director, Simon, hits upon the idea of continuing rehearsals over Zoom, but can the play survive its stars' bickering, paranoia and ego clashes? Staged also stars Georgia Tennant, Anna Lundberg, Lucy Eaton and Nina Sosanya, with some surprise guest stars.
