Sharon Small Joins David Tennant And Elliot Levey In Good

Sharon Small has joined David Tennant and Elliot Levey in the cast of Good, which opens at the Harold Pinter Theatre later this year.

Set in 1930s Germany, the play follows a professor who attempts to rationalise the actions and anti-semitism of the Nazi party. David will be taking on the lead role of Professor John Halder in the piece. Good has direction by Dominic Cooke and the creative team includes designer Vicki Mortimer.

Good will run for a new season from 6th October 2022 at the Harold Pinter Theatre, with dates until 24th December 2022. Press night will take place on Wednesday 12th October.

The show was originally meant to begin previews at the Playhouse Theatre on 6th October 2020 and run for ten weeks, but had been forced to move dates given the ongoing pandemic. It was then rescheduled for 2021, and has now been moved for a second time.

Director Dominic Cooke said: "I am so excited to finally get Good into rehearsals and our patience has been rewarded with the thrilling combination of David Tennant, Elliot Levey, and Sharon Small together on stage. I can't wait for audiences to experience C P Taylor's remarkable and timely play with these three fantastic actors."

David Tennant says of the play: "Dominic is one of the UK's all-time great theatre directors. I am really inspired and delighted to finally... FINALLY... get a chance to work with him, and especially on a wonderful play like C P Taylor's Good – a fantastic bit of writing that is more pertinent and resonant now than it has ever been."
