Inside Man To Preview At BFI Southbank In September With David Tennant Attending

The much anticipated BBC thriller Inside Man, starring David Tennant, will have a special preview screening on September 19th at BFI Southbank as part of their new events season for this autumn. The four-part thriller was written by former Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat and follows a prisoner on death row in the US, a vicar in a quiet English town and a maths teacher trapped in a cellar, as they cross paths in the most unexpected way. David plays vicar Harry Watling in the drama, which will also stream on Netflix internationally.

The screening of Episode 1 will be followed by a Q&A with David and his co-stars Stanley Tucci (Fortitude), Dolly Wells (Around The World In 80 Days) and Lydia West (It's A Sin) along with Steven Moffat and director Paul McGuigan. Tickets for the event go on sale on Thursday 4th August at 11.30am, and will be available here.

Inside Man is due to premiere on BBC One later this year, and will be available to stream on Netflix outside the UK and Ireland, with launch dates yet to be confirmed. It is produced by Alex Mercer with executive producers Sue Vertue for Hartswood Films and Ben Irving for the BBC, with Chris Sussman will overseeing for Netflix. Further casting includes Lyndsey Marshal (Dracula), Atkins Estimond (Hightown), Mark Quarterly (Cursed), Tilly Vosburgh (Maigret), Louis Oliver (Midnight Mass), Kate Dickie (The Witch) and Dylan Baker (Political Animals).
