PHOTOS: David Tennant & Catherine Tate Filming Doctor Who Today In Bristol *Possible Spoilers*

Filming for Doctor Who's 60th Anniversary episode continued in Bristol today with David Tennant and Catherine Tate both spotted on location.

The BBC confirmed last month that David and Catherine would be returning to Doctor Who for the show's 60th anniversary. The beloved pairing have reunited with showrunner Russell T Davies for the first time since David Tennant's final episodes, The End Of Time Parts 1 and 2, which aired in 2009 and 2010.

David, of course, made an appearance in the 50th Anniversary special The Day Of The Doctor, alongside Matt Smith, Jenna Coleman, Billie Piper and John Hurt. He and Catherine have also reunited for a series of Tenth Doctor audio dramas for Big Finish.

The Doctor and Donna parted ways when the Doctor had to wipe Donna's memory, making her forget him, in order to save her life. He left her family with a warning: if ever she remembers, she will die. But with the two coming face to face once more, the big question is, just what brings the Doctor and Donna back together?

Russell T Davies, Showrunner said: “They're back! And it looks impossible - first, we announce a new Doctor, and then an old Doctor, along with the wonderful Donna, what on earth is happening?  Maybe this is a missing story. Or a parallel world. Or a dream, or a trick, or a flashback. The only thing I can confirm is that it’s going to be spectacular, as two of our greatest stars reunite for the battle of a lifetime.”

Neil Patrick Harris' role in the series was confirmed earlier this week. Russell said “It’s my huge honour to open our studio doors for the mighty Neil Patrick Harris… but who, why, what is he playing? You’ll just have to wait. But I promise you, the stuff we’re shooting now is off the scale. Doctor beware!”
