Voting is now open in the 8th annual National Film Awards, and David Tennant is one of the nominees for Best Actor in a TV Series. The Awards are produced by the National Film Academy and are one of the only motion picture award shows to offer the public an opportunity to both nominate and vote for all categories.
David is nominated for his performance as adventurer Phileas Fogg in the acclaimed drama series Around The World In 80 Days. All shortlisted nominations in his category are:

- James Nesbitt (Stay Close)
- Tom Bateman (Behind Her Eyes)
- Ben Miller (Professor T)
- David Tennant (Around The World in 80 Days)
- Lee Jung-jae (Squid Game)
- Babou Ceesay (Wolfe)
- Omar Sy (Lupin)
The series Around The World in 80 Days is also nominated for Best Action in a Film/Series 2022.
You can also vote for David's daughter Olive Tennant who is shortlisted in the Best Newcomer 2022 category for her role in the multi-award winning feature film Belfast.
