AUSTRALIA: Update On The Premiere Of Around The World In 80 Days

There's been an update on the Australian premiere of David Tennant's adventure series Around The World In 80 Days. According to TV Tonight, the original broadcaster Seven have sold on the broadcasting rights to show the series, Seven was an investor in the series through its former production co-venture Slim Film + TV. However a new broadcaster is rumoured to be announcing Australian rights soon. 

Around The World In 80 Days stars David Tennant as Phileas Fogg, a 19th Century gentleman and adventurer who, with his valet, Passepartout, played by rising French actor Ibrahim Koma, takes on the legendary journey of circumnavigating the globe in just 80 days following an outrageous bet. They are swiftly joined by aspiring journalist Abigail Fix, played by The Crown’s Leonie Benesch, who seizes the chance to report on this extraordinary story. 
Other cast members include Jason Watkins, Peter Sullivan, Lindsay Duncan, Dolly Wells, Richard Wilson, Faical Elkihel, Anthony Flanagan, Gary Beadle, Ty Tennant and Giovanni Scifoni.
