David Tennant will be one of the hosts of this year's Comic Relief Red Nose Day television special, which airs tonight from 7pm on BBC One. He will co-present the BBC One fundraising extravaganza along with Zoe Ball, Alesha Dixon, AJ Odudu, Paddy McGuinness, Vernon Kaye and Sir Lenny Henry.
Red Nose Day 2022 will culminate in an unmissable evening of television that will be broadcast live from MediaCityUK in Salford on BBC One and BBC iPlayer as some of the nation’s favourite faces come together for a very special night of comedy, entertainment, music and much more. The Red Nose Day night of TV will feature hilarious sketches, live performances and one-off comedy specials whilst showcasing the incredible impact donations have made in the UK and across the world.
This year’s Comic Relief is set to be one of the best yet, with some star studded appearances from French and Saunders, Jack Whitehall, Tom Daley, Rose Ayling Ellis and Giovanni Pernice, David Walliams, Guz Khan, Matt Lucas, Jay Blades, and many more.
Comic Relief seeks to raise fundds through comedy, entertainment and music to support projects in the UK and abroad, and donations are used to tackle issues including homelessness, hunger, domestic abuse, and mental health problems.
