AUSTRALIA: Free-To-Air Premiere Of Deadwater Fell On SBS Starts This Week

The gripping David Tennant drama Deadwater Fell has its free-to-air premiere in Australia on Wednesday with the series launch on SBS. Starring Cush Jumbo and David Tennant, this four-part crime drama set in Scotland originally aired on Channel 4 in the UK last year and has been seen in Australia on the premium channel BBC First.

Deadwater Fell centres on a small community which is riven with doubt and suspicion when a seemingly happy family is murdered by someone they know and trust. As those closest to the family begin to question everything they thought they knew about their friends, the investigation gets underway. David Tennant stars as Tom Kendrick, as the village doctor who may or may not have had a hand in the deaths of his wife Kate, played by Anna Madeley, and their three young girls. Cush Jumbo co-stars as Jess, Kate’s best friend, with Matthew McNulty as her partner Steve, a local police sergeant who is investigating the case.

Deadwater Fell premieres on SBS on Wednesday 21st April at 9.30pm, with new episodes airing weekly. Episodes will be available at SBS On Demand the same day they go to air.
