UK: David Tennant Returns As Guest Host Of Have I Got News For You In April

David Tennant will be the first guest host of the new series of BBC One's Have I Got News For You when it returns next month for its 61st series. Always popular on the panel, this will be David's seventh time presenting the long-running satirical news quiz which first launched in 1990. David last hosted the show in May 2020, presenting remotely from home while the UK was in the midst of its first national lockdown. The series returned to the studio later in the year.

Also appearing on the show with David and regular team captains Paul Merton and Ian Hislop are journalist Helen Lewis and comedian Jack Dee, himself a regular in the show's hosting chair.

Have I Got News For You returns on Friday 9th April at 9.30pm on BBC One. An extended edition, Have I Got A Bit More News For You will follow a few days after the initial broadcast.
