Following the concluding episode of the Disney animated show
DuckTales, the series cast reprise their voice roles for ‘This Duckburg Life,’
an original scripted podcast for kids and families. The podcast
launches today on Disney XD YouTube, DisneyNOW and Disney XD VOD or you can
subscribe wherever you get your podcasts.
This Duckburg Life sees Huey Duck (Danny Pudi) hosting a
show for Duckburg Public Radio, and the seven-part series will be packed with
familiar characters and riveting stories from the DuckTales world. Joining Pudi
to reprise their voice roles in This Duckburg Life will be David Tennant
(Scrooge McDuck), Ben Schwartz (Dewey), Bobby Moynihan (Louie), Kate Micucci
(Webby Vanderquack), Beck Bennett (Launchpad McQuack), Toks Olagundoye (Mrs.
Beakley), Jim Rash (Gyro Gearloose), Josh Brener (Mark Beaks), Margo Martindale
(Ma Beagle) and Tony Anselmo (Donald Duck), with others yet to be
announced.
The first episode, Adventure Calls, focuses on big-hearted but
disaster-prone pilot Launchpad McQuack.
This Duckburg Life is produced by Disney Television
Animation’s Multiplatform Content team, led by executive director Gino
Guzzardo, with story editor Daniel Siegel (Stuck At Home) and writers Ben Acker
(The Thrilling Adventure Hour), Megan Gonzalez (DuckTales) and Ben Siemon
(DuckTales).
