How You Can Watch David Tennant Present Comic Relief As Part Of The Virtual Red Nose Day Audience

The UK’s biggest night of comedy and entertainment is back. Comic Relief 2021 will be live from BBC Elstree Studios on Friday 19 March from 7pm. The fundraising favourite brings together stars of stage, screen and the movies for an epic three-hour comedy special, entertaining the nation with hilarious sketches, live performances, big surprises and stunning music acts; in a celebration to raise much-needed cash for good causes at home and across the world. And this time you can be a part of it, up on our screens for the nation to see, live from the comfort of your living room.

Joining Sir Lenny Henry in the studio will be Davina McCallPaddy McGuinnessAlesha Dixon and David Tennant. It’s going to be an unmissable night! Put on your red nose and apply for your place in the virtual audience now!

** Please note: There will be two audiences - the early audience will see the first half of the appeal night, from 7pm until 8.30pm, with a second audience seeing the later part of the show from 8.30pm until 10pm, so please select carefully when making your application. **

Tickets to be part of this special interactive audience are limited and will be allocated by random draw.

You can register at any time until 10pm on Thursday 11 March.

You can apply for a maximum of one ticket per session (for you and your household bubble) and should your application be successful you will only receive tickets for one session.

Successful applicants will be invited to watch and listen to the live studio broadcast online (a unique link will be provided to each successful ticket holder / household), so we hope that even though you are at home, we can try and recreate the feeling that you’re part of a live audience!

In order for the BBC to be able to record your reactions throughout, you will need to have the camera on your device switched on during the broadcast. For the best possible experience, please connect using your laptop or desktop computer. Mobile devices provide limited functionality and as we require a steady camera view of you to feature within our show, a fixed computer with a fixed camera is preferred. Audience members will be encouraged to laugh along and engage with the performances - and you may just spot yourself on the big screen!
