David Tennant Sends Video Message For DuckTales Cast Panel

Ahead of the DuckTales series finale on Disney XD in the USA next Monday, the cast has taken part in a 45 minute virtual panel, hosted by Entertainment Weekly, comprising a table read and Q&A. However, while Ben Schwartz, Danny Pudi, Bobby Moynihan, Kate Micucci, Toks Olagundoye, Beck Bennet and Paget Brewster took part, David Tennant unfortunately was not able to join the event, due to other commitments. Instead he sent a pre-recorded message praising his fellow actors, but then caused turmoil by suggesting his 'favourite' of all of them should read the role of Scrooge in his place.

Later, during the Q&A, the cast describe a long-running practical joke that they played on David.

Watch the panel here, which includes a readthrough of a scene from the final ever episode of DuckTales. David's contribution is at the beginning of the video.

The DuckTales series finale, The Last Adventure, is a 90-minute special, premiering on Monday 15th Match from 7pm ET/PT on Disney XD in the USA.
