The cast also includes Maisie Williams, Dakota Fanning, Kōichi Yamadera, Golshifteh Farahani and Asia Kate Dillon. gen:LOCK is created by Gray G. Haddock, head of Rooster Teeth Animation, and is co-produced by Jordan through his own company Outlier Society Productions.

Season 2 of gen:LOCK, which was announced in 2019, will premiere on HBO Max and will be available on Rooster Teeth for FIRST members after 90 days. The release date for Season 2 has not yet been announced.
