FRANCE: Staged Comes To Canal+ Next Month

BBC One's award-winning comedy series Staged, starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen, is coming to Canal+ in France from next month. The network has secured both seasons of the sitcom, which was filmed during the UK's lockdown using video-conferencing technology, to launch from mid-March.

Created by Simon Evans and Phin Glynn and written by Evans, sees Good Omens co-stars David and Michael playing exaggerated versions of themselves, a pair of bickering actors confined to their homes, attempting to rehearse a play over Zoom. However, their rivalries, fragile egos and family distractions threaten to derail the whole process. The series also stars Georgia Tennant, Anna Lundberg, Nina Sosanya, Lucy Eaton and Simon Evans. Both seasons also boast a host of high-profile stars making cameo appearances.

Watch the whole of Staged Season 1 on Canal+ on Monday 15th March from 22.30, with Season 2 at the same time on Monday 22nd March.
