VIDEO: David Tennant Wins Best Male Actor Award in Digital Spy Awards - Watch His Acceptance Speech

David Tennant has won the Best Male Actor Award in the Digital Spy 2020 Reader’s Awards for his portrayal of Dennis Nilsen in the ITV drama Des. 

A video of his acceptance speech, which was recorded on the set of Around The World In 80 Days can be seen below:

"David Tennant's performance as Des was incredible and I'm delighted Digital Spy has awarded him the best actor award," said ITV head of Drama Polly Hill. "It's well deserved for what is the performance of the year."

David said of his win, "It means so much to me that it's connected with audiences - I can't tell you how thrilled I am to receive this, thank you everyone who voted."

The drama itself took third place in the Best British Drama category which was won by Killing Eve.
