The three part real-crime series Des launches in Poland on Cinemax this Sunday. David Tennant stars as infamous UK serial killer Dennis Nilsen in the miniseries that premiered on ITV in in the UK in September. Daniel Mays and Jason Watkins co-star. as Detective Peter Jay and Brian Masters respectively.
Dennis Nilsen murdered at least 12 vulnerable young men and boys in the period between 1978 and 1983, having lured them to his London flats with the promise of alcohol and a meal. Based on the book, Killing For Company by Brian Masters, Des documents the period following Nilsen's arrest and his trial, during which time the police, led by DI May, raced to identify the victims.
Watch Episode 1 of Des on Cinemax in Poland on Sunday 6th December from 20:00 with Episode 2 following directly afterwards at 20:45. The series concludes on 13th December.
