David Tennant Joins ‘Maggie’s Carols On Your Couch’ Online Concert Tomorrow Night

David Tennant will be joining a special fundraising event tomorrow night in aid of national cancer care charity Maggie's. Maggie's in Scotland have launched the inaugural Maggie's Carols On Your Couch singalong concert, a fun-packed festive event involving festive music, a specially filmed sequence by two of Scotland's most popular panto stars, and a host of musicians, singers plus readings by some famous Scottish favourites.

Joining David will be X Factor star Caitlyn Vanbeck and former Blue Peter presenter and author Janet Ellis. In addition, actors Andy Gray and Grant Stott, unable to perform in their usual pantomime this year, have filmed an exclusive festive sketch from the stage of the King's Theatre, Edinburgh. The event is especially meaningful for Andy Gray who has battled blood cancer and received support himself from Maggie's.

The concert starts at 7.30pm GMT on Thursday 3rd December. Tickets to the online event are available for £10 per household via this link.

Maggie's centres provide free support and breathing space to anyone with cancer, and their families, working alongside hospitals across the country. Tomorrow night's event will be raising funds for the eight Maggie's Centres in Scotland. One of these is the centre at Western General Centre in Edinburgh which David Tennant visited during the 2019 Children In Need Appeal. You can watch the clip here:
