David Tennant will be one of a host of stars taking part in The Story Of Christmas, an annual charity appeal raising funds for disadvantaged children and the homeless.
The Story of Christmas is a charity carol service which usually
takes place each year at St George’s Hanover Square in Central London. This
year, in view of the pandemic crisis, the event will move online as a magical,
star-studded video carol concert. The concert will be released via YouTube on
Wednesday 16th December for everyone to enjoy at home, with viewers urged to support
The Story of Christmas via their JustGiving Page. There will also be an online
charity auction launching on Wednesday 2nd December and concluding at 11pm on
Wednesday 16th December when the successful bidders will be revealed.
This year’s charities who will benefit from the campaign are
999 Club, Ambitious About Autism, Cherry Trees, Harington, Look Ahead, Momentum
Children’s Charity, West London Mission and Young Westminster Foundation.
