David Tennant Confirmed For The Shows Must Go On! Shakespeare Season On YouTube



David Tennant has been named as one of the performers appearing on the new Shakespeare season on YouTube channel The Shows Must Go On!.

The channel was set up earlier this year to bring show tunes, backstage access and full performances from some of the best loved production in history straight into your home. Featuring the best of musical theatre and beyond, from today, The Shows Must Go On! adds some classic Shakespearean performances to its repertoire. Today's event is Simon Callow's one-man performance in Trafalgar Studios' 2011 production Being Shakespeare, and other streams include, from next Monday, Richard II starring Fiona Shaw (1997) and Macbeth starring Patrick Stewart (2007), available on 16th November. 

The season concludes on Monday 23rd November with a reading of a selection of famous Shakespeare sonnets by a full line-up of stars, including David Tennant, recorded in 2012.
