UK: David Tennant Narrates A New Episode Of The Children's Hospital On BBC Scotland And BBC iPlayer Tonight

The new series of The Children's Hospital, narrated by David Tennant, continues on BBC Scotland and BBC iPlayer tonight from 8pm. The popular series gives a behind-the-scenes look at Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital, meeting the young patients and their families and showcasing the incredible dedication from the extraordinary NHS staff.

The eight-part series is an intimate and sensitive account of day-to-day hospital life, unveiling the effort that goes into giving thousands of young patients in the North East of Scotland the best possible care and the camaraderie of the RACH’s dedicated hospital team.

In tonight's episode Corran and her family wait anxiously to find out if chemotherapy is working to beat her high-risk cancer and stopping it from spreading further.

Meanwhile, Four-year-old Lois has suffered a dog bite, causing a deep cut to her nose, and the plastics team urgently try to fix the wound in such a way as to leave Lois with no facial scarring.

Kloe is put under close watch as doctors fear she could have a fractured skull after falling from a bunk bed. And we go behind the scenes with the busy haematology lab, where 3,000 blood samples are tested every day.
