Richard Wilson returns to Radio 4 with the fifth series of Believe It! A series of not quite true revelations about his life. Jon Canter’s comedic writing is as sharp as ever as he delves into themes such as celebrity, brand awareness and death. As usual Richard has many friends from whom he seeks advice. Expect visits from Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Antony Sher, David Tennant, Peter Capaldi and Alexei Sayle - helped out by an excellent supporting cast. It’s a mockumentary and spoof autobiography rolled into one.
The first new episode “Brand” will air on BBC Radio 4 at 11.30am BST on Friday 25th September
