VIDEO: Good Omens Crowley And Aziraphale Visit The Globe

Amazon Prime UK has shared a clip on their YouTube channel of a fan-favourite scene from Good Omens that almost didn't make the series at all.

The crew were given rare access to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London for a scene where Crowley and Aziraphale are watching an early staging of Hamlet. Originally planned to include over 500 extras in Elizabethan costume, the short shooting window of just five hours meant a rapid rewrite by scriptwriter Neil Gaiman and director Douglas Mackinnon so the scene could survive in a modified form.

Good Omens stars David Tennant as Crowley and Michael Sheen as Aziraphale, a demon and an angel who join forces to prevent Armageddon. The six-part adaptation of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's cult novel is available to stream worldwide on Amazon Prime.

UK fans can see David Tennant and Michael Sheen reunite in the new comedy series Staged, coming to BBC One on Wednesday 10th June.
