Good Omens Nominated For A BAFTA TV Craft Award



The Amazon Prime series Good Omens has been nominated in the 2020 BAFTA TV Craft Awards for its special effects. MILK Visual Effects, Gareth Spensley, Real SFX are shortlisted in the Special, Visual and Graphic Effects category for their work on the six-part fantasy comedy starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen.

The apocalyptic fantasy series Good Omens was scripted by Neil Gaiman, based on the 1990 novel he co-wrote with the late Terry Pratchett. Douglas Mackinnon directed the show which originally launched on Amazon Prime last May. David Tennant and Michael Sheen star as Crowley and Aziraphale, an angel and a demon, who have lived on Earth among the humans since The Beginning, discover that the forces of Heaven and Hell are preparing for the Final Battle. Unwilling to give up their comfortable lives, they pledge to join forces to defeat the Antichrist and save the world.
